Whole-Home Renovationin Chapel Hill & the Triangle

Bringing a dated house fully up to your standard — layout, systems, and finishes, room by room, under one coordinated plan. The right move when the location is perfect but the house isn't.

The work

What's Included

A whole-home renovation is the deep end of residential construction — structure, systems, and finishes all moving at once, in the right order. This is where one accountable team matters most: we sequence every trade under a single plan, so the electrician isn't waiting on framing and your tile isn't going down before the plumbing is proven.

  • Structural changes & layout reconfiguration
  • Full electrical, plumbing & HVAC updates
  • Kitchens, baths & living spaces
  • Windows, doors & building envelope
  • Original character preserved & restored
  • Permits, engineering & inspections

Why one team

One Contract. One Point of Contact.

Split a whole-home job across separate contractors and the schedule becomes everyone's problem and nobody's job. With one team holding the whole plan, the order of work is decided once — demolition, structure, rough-ins, inspections, insulation, then finishes — and when something changes, the people it affects hear about it the same day, from the same person.

“Let the house tell you what’s possible.”

How Your Project Runs

  1. Consultation

We walk your space, talk through what you want, and give you an honest read on scope, budget, and what’s realistic.

  2. Plan & Proposal

You get a clear, detailed proposal — scope, timeline, and price — with no vague line items or surprises later.

  3. We Build

Our team handles every trade and every permit, keeps the site clean, and keeps you updated so you're never left guessing.

  4. Final Walkthrough

We walk the finished project together and don't consider it done until you're satisfied.

FAQ

Whole-Home Renovation: Common Questions

Should we renovate or move?

If you love the location and the lot, renovating can get you a house you'd never find on the market. At your consultation we'll give you an honest read on scope and budget, so you can weigh renovating against moving with real numbers instead of guesses.

Can we live in the house during a whole-home renovation?

Sometimes. It depends on how much of the house is opened up at once and whether a kitchen and a working bathroom can stay in service. We'll tell you honestly at the consultation, and if staying put makes sense, we'll plan the order of work around it.

What if you find something unexpected behind the walls?

Older homes hide things — outdated wiring, past water damage, framing that isn't what anyone expected. When we find something, we show you, explain the options and what each one involves, and the scope doesn't change without your say-so.
