Kitchen Remodelsin Chapel Hill & the Triangle

The most complex room in the house, done right: cabinetry, countertops, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, and finish work coordinated by one team so you're not managing five vendors yourself.

The work

What's Included

Kitchens concentrate more trades per square foot than any other room — cabinetry, stone, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, and finish carpentry all converging in tight tolerances. We manage that convergence from start to finish, which is why the finished kitchen looks like the drawing.

  • Custom cabinetry & built-ins
  • Countertops, stone & tile
  • Layout changes & islands
  • Lighting & electrical service
  • Plumbing, fixtures & appliances
  • Ventilation done to code

Why one team

One Contract. One Point of Contact.

A kitchen is a chain of measurements: the cabinets set the countertop template, the countertop sets the sink and faucet, the appliances set the electrical and gas. When different companies own different links, a quarter-inch mistake turns into a re-order and a long wait. We own the whole chain, so measurements get checked once, by the people who'll live with them.

“Let the house tell you what’s possible.”

  4. Final Walkthrough

We walk the finished project together and don't consider it done until you're satisfied.

FAQ

Kitchen Remodels: Common Questions

Can you change the layout or move the sink?

Yes. Moving plumbing, gas, and electrical — or taking out a wall to open the kitchen up — is exactly the multi-trade work we coordinate. We'll tell you what a layout change involves in your house before you commit to it.

Will I have a kitchen during the remodel?

Not a working one for most of the project, so we plan for it up front. Your proposal lays out the schedule, so you'll know when the kitchen goes out of service and roughly when it comes back.

Does a kitchen remodel need a permit?

Usually, once the work touches plumbing, electrical, gas, or walls. We pull every required permit and coordinate every inspection, so you don't have to deal with the town.
