Primary Suite Retreatsin Chapel Hill & the Triangle

Bedroom, bath, and closet rethought as one private retreat — reworking the layout, borrowing space, or adding on, so the room you start and end every day in finally works.

The work

What's Included

A primary suite is three rooms that have to work as one: the bedroom, the bath, and the closet. Getting it right often means moving a wall, borrowing space from a hall or spare room, or adding on — and then building a bath that's as solid behind the tile as it is beautiful in front of it.

  • Layout changes & borrowed space
  • Spa-grade primary baths
  • Walk-in closets & built-ins
  • Walk-in & curbless showers
  • Lighting, heated floors & ventilation
  • Additions when the space isn't there

Why one team

One Contract. One Point of Contact.

A suite remodel touches structure, plumbing, electrical, tile, and carpentry in one small footprint — and usually while you're still living in the rest of the house. One team running it keeps the work contained, the trades in order, and one person answering your questions.

“Let the house tell you what’s possible.”

The process

How Your Project Runs

  1. Consultation

We walk your space, talk through what you want, and give you an honest read on scope, budget, and what’s realistic.

  2. Plan & Proposal

You get a clear, detailed proposal — scope, timeline, and price — with no vague line items or surprises later.

  3. We Build

Our team handles every trade and every permit, keeps the site clean, and keeps you updated so you're never left guessing.

  4. Final Walkthrough

We walk the finished project together and don't consider it done until you're satisfied.

FAQ

Primary Suite Retreats: Common Questions

Can you create a primary suite in a house that doesn't have one?

Often, yes — by reconfiguring existing rooms, borrowing space from a hall or spare bedroom, or building an addition. We'll show you which approach fits your house and your budget.

Can the shower be curbless?

Often, but it has to be planned from the start: a curbless shower usually means recessing the floor so water drains where it should. That's a framing decision, not a tile decision.

Can we keep living in the house while you work?

Usually. A suite remodel is contained to one part of the house, and we keep the work area closed off and the site clean, so the rest of your home stays livable.
