Twenty Years in the Same Town
I grew up in Chapel Hill and graduated from Chapel Hill High in 2001. I've spent more than 20 years since then renovating homes across this town and the rest of the Triangle.
Argyle Building Company is how I do that work: one team, one plan, and one person accountable from the first sketch to the final walkthrough. I personally oversee every project, coordinate every trade, and stay your point of contact from the first estimate to the day we walk the finished house together.

The part of this work I still love most is uncovering what a house already has — the original beams and the character underneath years of updates — and then building something modern around what's worth keeping.
That's the difference between a renovation that feels like the house finally became itself and one that feels like it was wiped clean. You get the comforts you want: open kitchens, real bathrooms, working systems. The house keeps the things that made you want it in the first place.
Still Home
I still live in Chapel Hill with my wife Kate, our two boys, and our boxer. The houses I work on belong to my neighbors, and I build them that way.
