The work

What's Included

A good addition disappears — rooflines meet correctly, siding and trim match, and the inside flows like the house was always this size. We handle the design, engineering, and construction as one scope, so the seam between old and new is somewhere you'll never find it.

  • Design & structural engineering
  • Foundations & framing
  • New wings, second stories & bump-outs
  • In-law suites & primary retreats
  • Seamless exterior matching
  • Permits, surveys & inspections

Why one team

One Contract. One Point of Contact.

An addition ties new foundation, framing, and roofing into a house that was built to its own logic decades ago. If the designer, engineer, and builder work separately, the tie-in is where the surprises land. Planning it as one scope means the connection to your existing house is designed before anyone breaks ground.

“Let the house tell you what’s possible.”

The process

How Your Project Runs

  1. Consultation

We walk your space, talk through what you want, and give you an honest read on scope, budget, and what’s realistic.

  2. Plan & Proposal

You get a clear, detailed proposal — scope, timeline, and price — with no vague line items or surprises later.

  3. We Build

Our team handles every trade and every permit, keeps the site clean, and keeps you updated so you're never left guessing.

  4. Final Walkthrough

We walk the finished project together and don't consider it done until you're satisfied.

FAQ

Home Additions: Common Questions

Should we build up or out?

It depends on your lot, setbacks, your existing foundation and framing, and how you want the house to live. A second story keeps your yard but asks the existing structure to carry more; building out is often simpler structurally but uses lot area and has to respect setback rules. We'll walk you through both for your house.

Will the addition match my house?

That's the goal. Rooflines, siding, trim, windows, and interior finishes are matched to what you have, so the addition reads as part of the original house rather than something bolted on.

Do additions need permits and engineering?

Yes. Additions need building permits and inspections, and usually structural engineering and a check against your lot's zoning and setback rules. We handle all of it as part of the project.
